Growing Through Sport
Developing teamwork, discipline, confidence and a love for physical activity through sport and movement.
Physical Education at STC
Physical Education forms part of the CAPS curriculum and is taught weekly to all learners from Grade 00 to Grade 7. Through a variety of activities, learners develop fundamental movement skills, coordination, teamwork, confidence, and an appreciation for an active and healthy lifestyle.

Sporting Opportunities

Competition & Participation
Throughout the year, learners have the opportunity to participate in inter-school sporting fixtures and competitions, allowing them to apply their skills, build confidence, and demonstrate teamwork and sportsmanship while representing the school with pride.
Annual Sports Day

Our annual Sports Day is a highlight of the school calendar. Learners from across the school participate in a range of field events, while learners in Grades 4 to 7 also compete in track events. The day celebrates participation, determination, teamwork, and school spirit as learners strive to achieve their personal best.
More Than Winning
Sport at St Theresa’s Convent School is about far more than winning. It teaches learners the value of commitment, resilience, respect, leadership, and teamwork while promoting physical wellbeing and self-confidence. Whether participating in Physical Education lessons, extra-mural activities, or inter-school competitions, every learner is encouraged to develop a positive attitude, embrace challenges, and enjoy an active lifestyle.
